What’s new in Tagbox.io / Guest Uploads and new Starter plan

We’ve been hearing one request loud and clear: an easier way to collect photos from others. So, this month’s update delivers exactly that - plus a few extra treats we think you’ll love.

1. Guest Uploads

What if anyone could add photos straight into your Tagbox - no login, no confusion, fully organized? Meet Guest Uploads, our newest feature, built for the way teams really work.

You can now invite anyone to upload photos or videos straight into your Tagbox. Add preset tags, choose the destination collection, and customize the link with your logo and cover image.

You’ll get an email notification each time someone uploads, and you can review a full upload history per link. It’s perfect for collecting content from photographers, event guests, clients, or your social community.

2. Set Main Photo for Person in Photos

A small but helpful addition: you can now select a person’s main photo - just open the image you actually want and click “Use this photo as main.”.

No more using that cropped Zoom screenshot of your CEO or the gala photo where your VIP is mid-blink.

3. A New Starter Plan

We recently retired our free plan, and we know the transition wasn’t easy for everyone. Your feedback has been incredibly helpful as we work to balance sustainability with accessibility.

In light of that, we’re adding a new Starter plan - it includes most AI features, supports up to 5,000 assets and 5 users, and is ideal for smaller organizations or specific departments within larger teams.
