Two updates this month - one we know you've been waiting for, and one that'll quietly change the way you use Tagbox.io every day. Plus, an opportunity to help shape what comes next.

Let's jump in!

1. AI Visual Search - Now in Video

You've always been able to search for things like "men running on the beach" or "product on a white table" across your photo library. It's one of the most loved features in Tagbox.io, and the #1 question we kept getting was: "When is this coming to video?"

Well, it's here.

From now on, when you search from the main search bar, Tagbox won't just look at file names, transcriptions, and metadata - it will also search inside the actual video content. If you're looking for a specific object, scene, or activity, and it appears anywhere in your videos, Tagbox will find it.

When a match is found, you'll see a new Search track on your video timeline - right alongside the transcription and people tracks you already know. On it, you'll notice two types of markers: bright highlights for high-confidence matches, and softer ones for possible matches that we surface just in case. This way you can jump straight to the moments that matter, without scrubbing through hours of footage.

This feature is available for Pro and Enterprise customers, as well as new customers on the free Pro trial.

2. Smarter Navigation

This one might not sound flashy, but it's a game-changer for your daily workflow. We've completely upgraded Tagbox.io's navigation system.

You can now use your browser's back and forward buttons to move between screens - something that sounds basic, but wasn't possible until now. On top of that, your current view - including any tag filters you've applied - is now reflected in the URL. That means you can bookmark a filtered view, or share a direct link with your team and they'll land on exactly what you see.

It's one of those changes that you'll notice every single time you use the platform.

3. Under the Hood: Infrastructure Upgrade

We recently completed a major upgrade to our underlying infrastructure. We won't bore you with the technical details, but in short - this sets the stage for faster performance and quicker feature releases going forward. This is also an opportunity to make UX improvements - the small friction points that slow you down but are easy to overlook.

With these improvements, you should start feeling Tagbox.io get snappier and smoother with every update. That said, with big changes come big risks. If you notice anything off - a page that loads differently, a button that doesn't behave, or anything that just feels wrong - please let us know right away. Reply to this email or drop us a line at hello@tagbox.io. Your reports help us catch and fix things fast.

Over the coming weeks, we're dedicating more time to these kinds of experience improvements - the small friction points that slow you down but are easy to overlook. If there's anything in the platform that bugs you, even something tiny, now's the time to tell us. Reply to this email or drop us a line at hello@tagbox.io. We're listening.
