Tagbox.io's Pricing Update: New Plans, More Powerful Tools

What's changing?

• We’re updating our plans. 

• Current paying customers will get to keep the previous price for at least another year.

• Free users will get a chance to upgrade at the previous price for the next month.

Why we’re raising prices

Our old plans worked for some - but not for all. The jump between tiers (like 10,000 to 20,000 assets) was too steep, and many customers asked for more flexibility and access to features like custom permissions or integrations without needing an enterprise contract.

Over the past year, we’ve rolled out dozens of improvements - from video trimming and asset rating, to Tagbox Desktop and integrations with Adobe, Canva, Figma, and many other tools.

Over the next month, we’ll be releasing even more powerful tools like Video Timeline, allowing a second-by-second video analysis, and AI logo detection. These new plans are built to reflect our transition into more powerful AI tools.

Our new pricing

We now offer the follwoing plans:

Solo – Free, and still here. Great for individuals and small projects. No changes.

Basic – Previously called "Company", this plan is now $400/mo when paid annually, or $480/mo on a monthly basis. It's jam packed with all of the core features teams need to stay organized and supports up to 10,000 assets:

• AI tools like facial recognition, AI search, similarity search, and searchable video transcription

• Admin tools like bulk actions, and tag management

• Collaboration and sharing tools using smart collections

Pro – Our newest plan, designed for teams that are looking for some extra horse power. Pro includes everything in Basic and supports up to 25,000 assets, plus features we previously only offered to enterprise customers: custom roles & permissions, analytics, integrations, desktop apps, and our newest AI features like second-by-second video timeline analysis and AI logo detection (rolling out over the next few weeks).

Enterprise – For organizations with highly specialized needs. Enterprise plans include everything in Pro, with the addition of custom AI tagging models, advanced security options, and other platform customizations.

Our previous Studio plan has been replaced with a new Small Business Program, offering eligible small teams up to 50% off the Basic plan. It’s our way of continuing to support early-stage companies and lean teams.

Existing customers and free users

All existing customers are being grandfathered into their current pricing for at least 12 months. After that, we might introduce a price increase of up to 25%, in line with our policy to avoid large, sudden changes.

If you're not a customer yet, you're still eligible to lock in the old pricing until August 31, 2025.
