Tagbox.io's Pricing Update: Keeping It Simple, Adding Value

Tl;dr

• We’re updating our prices. 

• Current paying customers will get to keep the previous price for at least another year.

• Free users will get a chance to upgrade at the previous price for the next month.

Why we’re raising prices

Since pre-launching Tagbox.io two years ago, we've continuously expanded our features, including adding many advanced AI capabilities, to enhance creative asset collaboration for all our customers. 

To avoid complicated feature-based pricing, we’ve made sure to include most features, excluding some advanced enterprise-focused ones, in all plans. 

For that reason, and for the first time since we started, we're updating our pricing to better reflect the added value we've brought to Tagbox.io. 

We remain committed to helping any size team stay better organized, and maintaining our robust free plan for solo creatives. 

As a sign of appreciation for our early adopters, existing paying customers will keep their current rates, while free users will have a chance to lock in the previous pricing.

Our new pricing

Thousands of teams are using our free plan, and we absolutely love that. We remain committed to helping solo creatives be more productive and better organized, which is why we’re keeping the 1000-asset limit of the free plan, but reducing the allowed members to three.

As for our paid plans: rest assured, we've done our homework to stay one of the most affordable DAM solutions available, balancing cost with unbeatable value. Our studio plan is now priced at $100/month (paid annually), and our company plan now starts at $150/month.

Existing customers and free users

If you’re an existing Tagbox customer, the price change will not apply to you for at least the next 12 months. This is our small way of saying thank you for your loyalty.

For free accounts, we are decreasing the number of allowed users per account to three.

• On May 8, 2024, in free Workspaces at or over the limit, you won’t be able to add more users.
• On June 8, 2024, in free Workspaces over the limit, your workspace will get frozen with the only options being to remove users or upgrade to a paid plan.
